Four wives

Once upon a time, there was a rich merchant who had 4 wives. He loved the 4th wife the most and adorned her with rich robes and treated her to delicacies. He took great care of her and gave her nothing but the best. He also loved the 3rd wife very much. He’s very proud of her and always wanted to show off her to his friends. However, the merchant is always in great fear that she might run away with some other men. He loved his 2nd wife, too. She is a very considerate person, always patient and in fact is the merchant’s confidante. Whenever the merchant faced some problems, he always turned to his 2nd wife and she would always help him out and tide him through difficult times. Now, the merchant’s 1st wife is a very loyal partner and has made great contributions in maintaining his wealth and business as well as taking care of the household. However, the merchant did not love the first wife and although she loved him deeply, he hardly took notice of her. One day, the merchant fell ill. Before long, he knew that he was going to die soon. He thought of his luxurious life and told himself, “Now I have 4 wives with me. But when I die, I’ll be alone. How lonely I’ll be!” Thus, he asked the 4th wife, “I loved you most, endowed you with the finest clothing and showered great care over you. Now that I’m dying, will you follow me and keep me company?” “No way!” replied the 4th wife and she walked away without another word. The answer cut like a sharp knife right into the merchant’s heart. The sad merchant then asked the 3rd wife, “I have loved you so much for all my life. Now that I’m dying, will you follow me and keep me company?” “No!” replied the 3rd wife. “Life is so good over here! I’m going to remarry when you die!” The merchant’s heart sank and turned cold. He then asked the 2nd wife, “I always turned to you for help and you’ve always helped me out. Now I need your help again. When I die, will you follow me and keep me company?” “I’m sorry, I can’t help you out this time!” replied the 2nd wife. “At the very most, I can only send you to your grave.” The answer came like a bolt of thunder and the merchant was devastated. Then a voice called out : “I’ll leave with you. I’ll follow you no matter where you go. “The merchant looked up and there was his first wife. She was so skinny, almost like she suffered from malnutrition. Greatly grieved, the merchant said, “I should have taken much better care of you while I could have!” We all have 4 wives in our lives. The 4th wife is our body. No matter how much time and effort we lavish in making it look good, it’ll leave us when we die. Our 3rd wife is our possessions, status and wealth. When we die, they all go to others. The 2nd wife is our family and friends. No matter how close they had been there for us when we’re alive, the furthest they can stay by us is up to the grave. The 1st wife is in fact our soul, often neglected in our pursuit of material wealth and sensual pleasure. It is actually the only thing that follows us wherever we go. Perhaps it’s a good idea to cultivate and strengthen it now rather than wait until we’re on our death bed to lament.

Imam Ghazali: Apakah yang paling dekat dengan diri kita di dunia ini?

Murid 3:  Teman
Murid 4:  Kaum kerabat
Imam Ghazali:  Semua jawapan itu benar. Tetapi yang paling dekat dengan kita ialah MATI. Sebab itu janji Allah bahawa setiap yang bernyawa pasti akan mati ( Surah Ali-Imran :185).

Imam Ghazali:  Apa yang paling jauh dari kita di dunia ini ?
Murid 1:  Negeri Cina
Murid 2:  Bulan
Murid 3:  Matahari
Murid 4:  Bintang-bintang
Imam Ghazali:  Semua jawaban itu benar. Tetapi yang paling benar adalah MASA LALU. Bagaimanapun kita, apapun kenderaan kita, tetap kita tidak akan dapat kembali ke masa yang lalu. Oleh sebab itu kita harus menjaga hari ini, hari esok dan hari-hari yang akan datang dengan perbuatan yang sesuai dengan ajaran Agama.

Imam Ghazali:  Semua jawaban itu benar, tapi yang besar sekali adalah HAWA NAFSU (Surah Al Araf: 179). Maka kita harus hati-hati dengan nafsu kita, jangan sampai nafsu kita membawa ke neraka.

The Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him & his progeny) Said:

1) Four things that make your body sick:

a) Excessive talking
b) Excessive sleeping
c) Excessive eating and
d) Excessive meeting other people

2) Four things that destroys the body:

a) Worrying
b) Sorrow (Sadness/Grief)
c) Hunger
d) Sleeping late in the night

3) Four things that dry the face & take away its happiness:

a) Lying
b) Being disrespectful / impudent (insisting on something wrong knowingly)
c) Arguing without adequate knowledge & Information.
d) Excessive immorality (doing something wrong without fear).

4) Four things that increases the wetness of face & its happiness:

a) Piety
b) Loyalty
c) Generosity (being kind)
d) To be helpful to others without he/she asking for that.

5) Four things that stop the Rizq (Sustenance):

a) Sleeping in the morning (from Fajr to sunrise)
b) Not Performing Namaz or Ir-regular in Prayers
c) Laziness / Idleness
d) Treachery / Dishonesty

6) Four things that bring / increase the Rizq:

a) Staying up in the night for prayers.
b) Excessive Repentance
c) Regular Charity
d) Zikr (Remembrance of Allah / God).

The Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him & his progeny), Also said to communicate to others even if you listen One Verse (Ayah) & this one verse will stand on the Day of Judgment for intercession.

The Holy Prophet (SAW) said, Stop doing everything during the Azaan, even reading the Quran, the person who talks during the Azaan will not be able to say the Kalima AShah ad a on his/her death bed…. Please pass this message to Muslims… READ THIS DUAA FOR BETTER LIFE

Allahumma- inni- ala- Zikr-ika -wa Shuk-rika wa husni-ib ad -atika

Suggestions,suggestion.

You guys know what,recently I came across this guy,Baba ali in youtube.Indeed he is a good example of a young man with a wife spreading good message about islam and all.I recommend it to people who have never saw him or if you do,i know you’ll like it.He is a Serbian,converted to islam if i i’m not mistaken 10 years ago.He really gives good advice well ..in a straightforward way.Nah watch this.Hehe.I suggest you to see it.

I mean,i feel a bit dissapointed because our most malay muslims in spore isn’t that hardcore enuf on taking pride on their religion u know what i mean.Sometimes,i feel really blessed that i’m born a muslim because i’m immediately exposed to basic islam belief,the five pilars of islam and all the rest.if you really see out there,the global muslims are like loving their religion of peace and will do anything to fight for it(not till crashing planes).For example,teenage muslims pray in a clean little spot immediately when it’s time for asr eventhough they are in a mall filled with all types of people.They even take wudu’ and put their legs on the sink when needed,in public.imagine that.Onlookers disgusted looks and what not,shocked faces are all over the place but what the heck.We muslims treat this dunia temporary simply bcoz the hereafter is ten times better than this dunia. We communicate with allah through solat so why not,for distressed people out there,this is one superb way to let out all your feeling and dissapointment ,an alternative to calling 1900-i-nid-help-hotline.You guys know what i’m saying??i Hope so.So peace out and live your life,till it’s taken back by the all-knowing.

Reminder,before i’m saying all this to you guys,i reflect on myself first.
